Playful design for community care
PMHC Public Health Campus
At the PHMC Public Health Campus, playful design elements bring color, creativity, and storytelling into a public health setting. The installation incorporates vibrant materials, engaging forms, and environmental narratives that reflect the character of the campus and its role as a hub for the community. More than an architectural feature, the project embodies the campus’s values of education, equity, and empowerment, transforming the site into a welcoming space that celebrates connection and care.
The Learning Goals
The installation encourages communication as families share observations and stories sparked by the design. Vibrant materials and interactive features promote critical thinking as children consider how their surroundings connect to health and well-being. The experience also fosters creative innovation through playful exploration and builds confidence as children interpret and engage with the world around them.
