Play Everywhere Philly
Playful Learning Landscapes Action Network (PLLAN) and KABOOM! are teaming up, with support from the William Penn Foundation, to transform 16 ordinary sites into playful learning spaces for communities across Philly.
The Learning Goal
Play Everywhere Philly sites will promote adult-child interactions that support language and literacy. Community members will work with experts to design playful learning spaces that address the goals of local residents. Collaboration between the Play Everywhere team, community organizations, and residents will ensure that playful learning will be culturally relevant and meaningful to each area’s children.
