Playful tabletops that turn mealtime into moments of conversation and discovery
Stenton Family Manor
As part of HopePHL, the Stenton Family Manor installation introduces eleven Playful Learning tabletops integrated throughout the dining room. Designed to activate everyday mealtime moments, each table features engaging graphics and prompts centered around themes such as sports, food, brain games, and all things Philadelphia.
By embedding playful challenges directly into a shared gathering space, the installation strengthens communication and critical thinking during routine interactions. Families can explore local references, solve visual puzzles, compare ideas, and spark conversation while eating and connecting with one another. The result is a dining environment that supports joyful learning and meaningful engagement in the flow of daily life.
